Tärnaby is located in Southern Lapland, about 1000 kms North of Stockholm, 45O kms North of the University City of Umeå and lies close to the Norwegian border. The Atlantic coast of Norway is only an hour's drive away with spectacular fjords and beautiful islands to see and discover.

From Sweden - use main route E12.

E12 from Umeå is intersected by the north/south Route 45 in Storuman.

From Norway - use main route E12 from Mo I Rana or minor road via HattFjelldal.
